Other Classes: These classes are FREE! You bring some of your supplies. Jan. 28, 1 - 4 pm. Kool-Aid Yarn Dyeing -- A safe and fun way to play with color. Bring your own yarn -- details at the CFAC. Feb. 25, 1 - 4 pm. Block Printing -- Cut a small block and print your own design. Mar. 24, 1 - 4 pm. Tapestry Crochet -- If you know how to crochet, you can pick up this technique in an afternoon. More information and examples available by the end of January.

Anyone still interested in Digital Photography Classes? If so, let us know and we will get RJ Pieper to hold another class! SLR Cameras "Point and Shoot" Cameras Learn some basics of how your digital camera works and how you can improve your photographs. Classes will also focus on photo editing on the computer. Free class but must pre-register! Class is limited to 12 students. |

Adult Classes:
Knitting Basics for Beginners with Debora Soule Tuesdays, 4:30 to 6 p.m. Free class. New class begins first Tuesday of each month. Learn to knit by making a basic dishcloth first and complete a scarf. Warning: There will be homework! J Supplies List: Size 7 or 8 needles 1 skein of cotton yarn (Sugar n’ Cream or Peaches & Creme) Acrylic yarn: 300-350 yards (Vanna’s Choice, Paton’s Canadiana or a wool/acrylic blend such as Plymouth’s Encore) And appropriate needles will be determined with yarn choice and individual knitting style.
and Part Two Knitting Thursdays, 4:30 to 6 p.m. Continue learning with individual projects chosen with assistance from instructor. |
Children’s Classes:
ArtCamp 2012 -- students 5th - 9th grade Two sessions each summer -- this is a popular summer activity!
Class will be held Monday - Thursday, 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at Overland Elementary School art room and costs just $30. Students this year will work with acrylic paints, oil pastels, block prints, fantasy art, pop art and sharpen their drawing skills. Co-sponsored with Sweetwater BOCES.
